Renewable Energy Reform

As the transition to renewables continues to mature, we are beginning to see governments revise and make changes to key legislative requirements.

QELA invites you to join us to dissect and delve into the existing and proposed changes set to occur within the wind industry in Queensland. Chris Cantwell will take us on a journey by reviewing the current State Code 23 following its inception in 2016. This discussion will provide us with an outline of what has worked well, improvements that could be made and other opportunities for future considerations to the State Code. Kathryn Pacey will give an overview on the proposed updates set to occur to the planning framework, increased requirements on projects and general guidance on how wind farm projects will be assessed and approved.
