Planning and Environment Court of Queensland: Practice Directions Update

PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENT COURT OF QUEENSLAND:  PRACTICE DIRECTIONS UPDATE

In May 2019, the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland released new Practice Directions:

• 2019/02 - Power of ADR Registrar to make orders or issue directions - Repeals 2/2018; and
• 2019/01 - Case management procedures - Repeals 1/2018.

The purpose of the Practice Direction 2019/01 is to set out case management procedures for the just and expeditious resolution of the issues in proceedings and avoid undue delay, expense and technicality.
