CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
BOLD
In 2026, QELA invites you to be BOLD. To challenge convention, embrace innovation, and lead with conviction. As Queensland faces rapid growth, environmental and regulatory change, and evolving community expectations, it’s time for bold ideas. Together, we’ll explore how decisive leadership, progressive policy, and fearless advocacy can strengthen Queensland’s environmental and planning future.
Being bold means more than taking risks; it’s about reimagining how we balance growth and protection, questioning established norms, and pioneering new pathways to allow for bold solutions to complex challenges.
At the QELA 2026 Annual Conference, we’ll celebrate those who boldly push boundaries, question the familiar, and spark conversations that will help shape Queensland’s tomorrow.
