In light of the current Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) directives regarding social distancing and gatherings, QELA will not be holding any face-to-face education or networking events until further notice.

This means all QELA events currently advertised, including the 2020 QELA Conference, will be postponed indefinitely.

With the start of a new decade, and the world and our environment facing unprecedented challenges, 2020 is a time for vision. A time to reflect on the decade that was, a time for insight into the current state of affairs and a time for looking forward to the future.

Themed "2020 Vision", the 2020 QELA Conference will explore the vision that has brought us here and the vision needed to create and implement positive change in the planning and environment sector, for the benefit of all. 

Whether you are short sighted, long sighted or have 20/20 vision, we want you to share your vision at the 2020 QELA Conference!

ACCOMMODATION BOOKING

Full 3 Day Conference Registration  

Registration includes:

  • Attendance to all Conference proceedings, Wednesday, 27 May 2020 to Friday, 29 May 2020;
  • Catering for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea during Conference days;
  • Attendance to Welcome Dinner on Wednesday, 27 May 2020, and Gala Dinner on Thursday, 28 May 2020;
  • Conference Satchel bag;
  • Electronic Conference Proceedings and Papers

Shared Registrations

  • Available for Members Only. 
  • Shared Registration can be shared between a maximum of three (3) people, and each person must nominate which day they are attending. 
  • Cost for Shared Registrations is the appropriate Full 3 Day Conference Registration listed above, plus $20 administration fee per person sharing.  Option to purchase Conference  Satchel for additional registrants. 
  • Shared Registration provides 1x inclusions of the Full 3 Day Registration listed above. Additional dinner registrations may be purchased. 
Shared Registration fee $22 per person sharing
Additional Conference satchel $50 per satchel

Day Only Registrations

Registration includes:

  • Attendance to all Conference proceedings of the day registered. 
  • Catering for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea during day registered.
  • If registered for Wednesday, 27 May 2020, registration includes attendance to the Welcome Dinner on Wednesday, 27 May 2020. 
  • If registered for Thursday, 28 May 2020, registration includes attendance to the Gala Dinner on Thursday, 28 May 2020;

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort welcomes QELA Conference delegates to stay at the venue at one of the 251 recently refreshed guest rooms and suites. 

 

Accommodation is booked direct with the Resort.  Rooms are Garden View rooms and cost:

  • $239 per night including breakfast 1 person, 
  • $259 per night including breakfast for 2 people.
