The so-called two part test under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 is gone. We have to let go of the past and embrace the requirement under the Planning Act 2016 to give reasons, balancing the decision in the public interest.

Our speakers will explore the importance of giving reasons under the Planning Act 2016, understanding how to balance the public interest and how to draft good reports and reasons.
